I have written for the Sanpete Messenger in the past as a correspondent and they did a lot of editing and rewriting but I was pretty surprised when they would not print a Letter to the Editor unless they reworded it to their liking. I withdrew my letter because that is just wrong. I will try bigger ponds. Censorship has been in print media a long time and is rearing its ugly head in social media so much that FB is getting intolerable. I will be migrating to Parler.com and posting on my blog regularly.
Also the sidewalk in Mt. Pleasant indicates we were smack dab in the middle of Utah.

The Black Lives Matter March through
downtown Ephraim was very peaceful and orderly. All wore masks and
walked quietly from the Market Fresh parking lot to City Hall where
they had a photo op on the lawn for 8 minutes and 49 seconds in honor
of George Floyd, the man who had a cop kneel on his neck resulting in his death.
There were people of all ages and many carried signs with BLM
slogans. We followed along and chatted with some very kind souls.
Some were locals and some came from elsewhere. Since it was the
burial day of George Floyd, who died so horribly under the cruel knee
of a rogue police officer, it was a particularly somber time; some
wore black.
Earlier that morning we had been sent a
link to an Instagram post by Tito Ortiz a wrestler who very
succinctly and with markers as props explained who the billinaire puppeteers are
pulling the strings of BLM. These elites have a lot to lose if DJT is
re-elected and the coup d'etat exposed. Many could land in jail and
lose their fortunes.
My husband printed up 40 fliers and we
handed them out as the walkers resumed their march to Walmart.
Police vehicles drove by but they did
not accompany the group. I did not hear one angry word spoken. I just
hope all these lovely people will listen to Tito Ortiz's warning on
social media.
(I also hope it won't be censored and
that Tito will be forgiven for his bad language) #badlanguagematters
Most of all I hope the marchers, the
BLM complicit, will not become pawns in the BLM movement.
